• In 2016, Temple launched a new, on-demand evening shuttle service for students living around Main Campus. • Official high school and/or university transcripts with English translations
• Standardized tests:
First-year applicants: Submit the results of at least one of the following tests: SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS or PTE.
Transfer applicants: Submit the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE unless you meet one of the following exemptions:
• You have successfully completed English composition at a U.S.- accredited college or university.
• English is your native language. The required English proficiency:
• TOEFL: 79
• IELTS: 6.0
• PTE: 53
• One recommendation letter is required for freshmen. Recommendation letter is not required for transfer students.

CONDITIONAL ADMISSION

WITH ACCESS TEMPLE

Students who meet the academic requirements of the university but fall short of the language requirements are offered conditional admission if they earn a minimum score on the TOEFL, IELTS or the PTE. Conditional admission students enroll in Access Temple, which offers language instruction, college credit and a guaranteed place at Temple after one or two semesters in the program.

BENEFITS:

• Guaranteed place at Temple University upon completion of Access Temple (see chart below)
• No need to retake the TOEFL or IELTS exam
• Earn college credits toward your degree
• Study on Temple’s Main Campus and become part of the Temple community
